West Room
The West Room is 40ft x 40ft; 1,500 square feet total. Equipped with non-removable dance floor. Lighting color can be customized.

Entry Vestibule
The Central Room/Foyer is 20ft x 32ft; 640 square feet total. Can be used with either room rental.

The East Room is 40ft x 30ft; 1,200 square feet total.

Paver Patio
In good weather TCCCT offers a paver garden for cocktails or mingling break outside.

Bridal Suite
Large Bridal Suite for client use (even if the ceremony is off-site). Access to the room begins at 9am or later.
Rental Rates

$1,750 – Friday Rental(25% off if booked in addition to a Saturday at full rate.)
$3,000 – Saturday and Holiday Weekend Sunday Rental
$1,200 – Non-Holiday Sunday Rental
$4,800 – PREMIUM RENTAL: Full weekend rental (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) for events with multi-day activities or extensive vendor deliveries and set up.

Open Class Rate with Quarterly Contract: M-Th: $35/hr

* Proof of non-profit status must be supplied at contract execution.
* No hard-soled dancing shoes and no tape use in the building. Must provide table/floor covers for art events.

The Carnegie Center Added Value :
Weekend event rental includes all day access (9am-midnight) to the building the day of the event for set-up, decorating, event and clean-up.
Clients may provide their own bar products - a savings of $15-40pp over other venues!
Saturday events may book Friday at a 25% discount.
The reception may last as long as 6 hours with no additional charge, which is 1-2 hours longer than industry standard.
No rental fee for hosting a ceremony. Note there is a small catering fee for ceremonies to support required extra staffing.
Weekend rental prices are 20% off during the months of January, February, and March.
Any couple who hosts their wedding ceremony at St. Stephens Catholic Church receives a 10% rental discount on a Friday or Sunday event hosted April- December, 25% discount for a Friday or Sunday during January-March .
Booking Process
Inquiry: Email us via the contact form to receive a rental brochure outlining venue details, policies, pricing, etc.
Schedule a Building Tour: Contact our Caterer, Eat Well Celebrations and Feasts, to schedule a tour of our facility: 859-291-9355 extension 401.
Catering Quote/Estimate: After your tour and meeting with Eat Well, you will receive a food and service quote from the caterer.
Book Your Event: Once you are happy with the catering options and pricing, you can book your event date by completing the rental contract, securing the event insurance, and pay 50% of the rent directly to The Carnegie Center of Columbia Tusculum. The remaining rental balance is due three months prior to your event date. A 3% fee is added for card payments via our PayPal invoicing , no fee is added for check payments.
Catering Contract: All invoicing for food and service should be arranged directly with our caterer based upon their requirements and timing. Note: a 10% top charge, payable to the Carnegie Center of Columbia Tusculum, is added to the catering invoice, which is less than industry standard.
Event Coordination: Once contracts are secured, Eat Well will serve as your Event Coordinator through which you can arrange food, service, scheduling, building access, etc. at your convenience!

Parking is available around The Carnegie Center building (13 spots), at the law office adjacent (17 spots), and free on the street. A map and/or written directions can be supplied. Any Renter wishing to hire a valet and/or security service may do so at his/her own expense. A valet quote can be provided via Eat Well Celebrations and Feasts. All calls for directions and other information regarding the Renter's function must be directed to the Renter, not The Carnegie Center. Note: Any client interested in valet parking might want to contact the Irish Heritage Center on Eastern Avenue. They have a very large rear parking lot and is located 2 1/2 blocks east of TCCCT. A valet quote to this facility can be provided, but permission / arrangements for using the Irish Heritage Center must be solicited and received by the client.

The client may bring their own alcohol, but they must pay for a Eat Well bartender to distribute (due to liability). The client may also choose to use Eat Well to provide and serve all alcohol for the event.

The client may choose to use Eat Well for linens, tableware, centerpieces, alcohol, and other rental items. They may also choose to provide these for themselves at their own arrangement and expense. The client may also choose to rent/use outside tables/chairs, but we do not allow Samsonite chairs in the facility.

TCCCT will only book 18 months in advance without Board approval. Any price changes are affective immediately, but exclude any events already booked. Therefore, pricing at the time of booking will be honored.

By signing a rental agreement, you are agreeing to all Policies and Procedures of The Carnegie Center of Columbia Tusculum. It is the clients' responsibility to ensure they have read and understood all policies prior to signing the contract. Additionally, it is the responsibility of the clients to ensure all outside vendors they hire and all guests and attendees adhere to the Policies and Procedures.

Eventsured is the event insurance partner of TCCCT:
Event insurance via Eventsured is required for weekend events. The coverage is summarized below.
*Under 500 attendees, 1M, 2M Liability; $119.92 estimate
-$1M/$2M for liability (standard)
-$100,000 for property damage (standard)
- $1,000 in medical payments (standard)
- Covers bodily injury, property damage, personal/advertising injury (slander/defamation,) host liquor liability, (Event Holder and Venue coverage) TCCCT must be listed as additional insured.
- Event cancelation insurance is not included on the base policy, but can be added for a small fee.
* TCCCT has a customized venue link with venue requirements, online payment, etc. Once completed, the certificate is automatically sent to The Carnegie Center of Columbia Tusculum.

ALL DEPOSITS FOR ROOM RENTAL ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Cancellation of a rental must be made in writing at least 3 months prior to function. If cancellation is made less than 3 months prior to function, Renter is responsible for cancellation charges up to 100% of agreed rental unless TCCCT rents the space to another person or organization, in which case a $50 handling fee will be assessed.
After receiving a cancellation request the renter may reschedule their event IN WRITING for another available date of equal rental value or less within 12 months from the cancellation request. A surcharge of 25% of event rental fee will be charged for rescheduling the event. The re-scheduled date must be conveyed in writing to TCCCT within 30 days of the request to cancel. If the rescheduled date is not provided within 30 days, the CANCELLATION POLICY will be in effect. There are no “CREDITS” provided for cancelled events
